What is REKA?
REKA 1.0 released on 26 October 2026, following early access on 12 September 2024. The Steam listing, Shochiku launch release and Gamer Social Club launch-day review agree on the full-release date. Older publisher pages have not all been updated.
Price snapshot, 2026-10-27: Steam US appdetails lists USD 19.99 regular and USD 12.99 at 35% off. These dollar amounts are a single-platform source; the Steam store and API are not independent price verification. The 26 October launch announcement and Shochiku release agree that the 35% promotion ends 7 November 2026. Regional prices and checkout times can differ.
Try the free first chapter through Download Reka Demo on Steam. The 29 September demo announcement describes exploration, witchcraft and starting a house (single developer source for content scope). This is a Steam download, not an official browser game.
The 26 October launch announcement announces the final chapter, more side quests, expanded house building, 21 achievements and autosaving. Steam lists nine languages including Simplified Chinese. These detailed counts are developer/platform information, not independent testing.
Fireshine's game page labels the genre third-person exploration; this site does not call REKA first-person. Fireshine support and Steam list solo play. Valve's Deck report marks Verified, consistent with the 18 December 2025 Deck announcement; it is not a fixed-frame-rate promise.

Guides

Follow the road to Kopnik, meet the witch, and take her recipe book before trying to gather everything. The opening ritual unlocks your walking house and building tutorial.

Begin in Kopnik, complete Trial of the Chicken to raise your house, then earn Leshy's trust. Later quests introduce gardening and spirit work; this is not a complete final-chapter walkthrough.

Finish Trial of the Chicken to unlock your chicken-legged house and its building tutorial. In 1.0, use the newer snapping and roof tools rather than relying only on early-access building tricks.

Use a fueled oven and three ingredients; their order does not matter. Bread uses three flour, or two flour and salt. Porridge uses three grain. The supported combinations follow.

Follow the main trials to unlock the hut, forest powers, gardening and spirit work. Optional village jobs give you additional reasons to cook, explore and return to NPCs.

The reported solution is to hold the lit lantern up, not merely switch it on. With the lantern equipped, hold the left mouse button on the default PC controls.

REKA is a single-player witch exploration and house-building game. Version 1.0 is out; platform rumours, old dates and early-access playtime require separate treatment.
Start with the first-map guide, use the recipe page for cooking combinations, or jump straight to a named quest. Each page explains which details are cross-checked and which come from one public source.
Choose a dated review or a focused comparison. REKA coverage mixes early access and 1.0 launch articles, so an aggregate score alone cannot tell you which build was assessed.
