REKA is single-player, not co-op

No: REKA is single-player. Neither the current Steam listing nor the publisher FAQ offers online co-op, split-screen or a shared house mode.

Steam's categories identify Single-player for app 1737870. Fireshine's official FAQ explicitly says REKA will not be multiplayer and explains that its atmosphere, building and exploration are intended for solo play. Shochiku's October 2026 release also lists one player.

The negative answer applies to the published game, not a guess about every future project or unofficial mod. Controller support, Steam Cloud and family-library features are not co-op modes. A Steam Deck badge likewise does not add multiplayer.

The FAQ still contains old early-access dates, so it should not be used as a new console roadmap. Its solo statement agrees with the current Steam categories and Shochiku release; no speculative future co-op date is supplied. Check the official store for supported features rather than treating a search suggestion as a game mode.

If shared play is essential, REKA is not a confirmed match. The similar-games index covers alternatives, but a similar atmosphere does not by itself establish co-op for any title.
