REKA walkthrough and story progression
Begin in Kopnik, complete Trial of the Chicken to raise your house, then earn Leshy's trust. Later quests introduce gardening and spirit work; this is not a complete final-chapter walkthrough.
Opening route (two independent guides). Return the merchant's wheel, ask villagers about the witch, follow her house marker, and take the recipe book at the gate. Gather 10 mushrooms and 6 honeycombs, rescue the trapped Lutk for the talisman, and follow the witch's ritual instructions to raise the hut. The wiki and Bonus Action agree on this sequence.
Before leaving the first map. Finish any Kopnik side quests you want; both guides warn the starting map cannot be revisited. The updated Bonus Action guide describes steering the hut toward the map fog and providing food for the journey. That travel detail is attributed to one guide rather than a verified universal keybinding.
Trial of the Forest Spirit. Help the forest and villagers to attract Leshy, then follow his Ancient Larch trial. The community chapter guide documents the Smiling Hive choice in this area; its specific rewards are covered on our dedicated page rather than treating it as mandatory for every route.
Later progression (wiki single source). Learning the Ropes leads to A Shrine to Siva, Becoming the Herbal Witch, A Visit, Souls, and Dziady. These are quest titles, not a verified count of all 1.0 chapters. Learning the Ropes was explicitly rebalanced in the 2026 beta, so the wiki's old ten-villager threshold is not presented as a current requirement.
Gardening. The Siva guide describes clearing the shrine, restoring its missing bowl, making grain offerings and filling bowls with water. Returning to the hut unlocks the herbalist workshop and gardening. The following herbal-witch guide describes finding seeds at ruined garden beds. These are community single-source outlines, not fresh 1.0 testing.
Spirits and the ending. A Visit leads to the Carver and mask; Souls covers helping ghosts, followed by Dziady. The wiki links onward to Rest without providing its full walkthrough. The October 26 official launch announcement confirms a final chapter; we do not replace it with the wiki's stale claim that the herbal-witch quest was the last quest.
