REKA crashing, loading, and stuck quests
Separate an update-delivery problem from a crash, save-loading failure or quest stall. These are public-source notes, not tested fixes or a promise to repair every issue.
Unable to receive 1.0 on launch day: the 26 October 2026 access notice says a Steam-wide issue delayed updates for some existing players and the team believed it resolved. This is the developer's account (single source); it does not diagnose every later loading screen or crash.
Loading game assets / crashes: no current official fix specific to that error was verified. The 8 October patch documents reduced save stutter, map-save compression and returning to the menu after a failed or over-five-minute save load. Those changes are not a universal crash remedy. The 10 GB storage requirement is not a measured install to verify against.
Smiling Hive: this older community thread includes an early-access developer response. Bound to the Bog: a separate community thread describes ghost-following and lantern behaviour. Each is a single community-thread source; neither establishes a current 1.0 bug or a tested present-day workaround.
Escalation: use Fireshine's public bug-report form, linked by its official support page. Steam support metadata lists [email protected] (single platform field). You do not need to launch or log into the game to access the web form.
For a useful report, describe the symptom, Windows version, hardware, build/version if already known, exact error and when it began. Attach only existing screenshots/logs you are comfortable sharing privately; do not post account details or personal save files publicly. No unverified save paths, binary replacements, file edits or guaranteed driver/preset cure is supplied.
